Brilliant multi character narration brings delightful story to life. (Adding these last words to hit annoying minimum)
It was a beautiful and heartbreaking story told through the lenses of multiple perspectives and the lost art of correspondence.
Well written and read (listened) as if I were reading Sybil’s letters and responding letters. I will be reading this author again.
Loved the narration. This book reminded me how life can be so simple and complex and beautiful all at once
To learn of a person’s life via the lost art of letter writing was a wonderful gift in this book – the last the ongoing. Loved it!
This was my first audible purchase. I found this book and the narrators to be engaging. I found myself coming back to it each day while cooking or exercising. Especially poignant for those of us who are in the empty- nester phase or beyond. A coming of age story for the second stage of life.
If you can get to the last hour or so of this book and NOT be turned inside out, you simply have no soul. Holy crap, what did I just read? Sybil, I want to HUG you so tight!
Amazing. My most favorite audio book ever!! I could not stop listening. Incredibly moving story and characters.
Many years and lives unfold in the form of letters – such as unique and powerful format for this complex story. You will fall in love with each character separately and together as the pages turn. The Audible performance is perfect – each person comes alive just the way you want them to.
