Probably one of the most outstanding ensambles I have ever listen on Audible. Terrific epistolary story just besides 84 Charing Cross Road on greatness. I just hope that Meryl Streep plays Sybil one day in the future.

Moving without being overly sad. The performance is as outstanding as the writing is. I highly recommend it.

Really wonderful! The letters with the different voices-was magical! The deep story and honesty of the correspondence by the correspondent’s were believable, where I felt the joy, grief, fear, will, and hope. Enjoy! One of my favorite books!!

Everything about this audiobook is outstanding. I will continue to wait for more books by this author. Cast was great too. I almost think hearing it in narration form might even be better than reading it. But I will buy a hardback to keep in my library.

The author successfully creates characters we don’t always like but ultimately love. It is well written and well written. Bonus for referencing so many other books that have impacted my life.

Hawkins is a great writer! She makes it seem so effortless. Lots of twists and turns, and nothing is over-explained. Some mystery writing is so dumb, but not Hawkins. I love her stories.

Liked everything about this story. Th letter writing that she obviously enjoyed. The variety of ages of the recipients of the letters. Related to the fear of blindness and the occasional loneliness. The narrators made everyone come alive!! So good!!!!

It was a great and compiling read. Loved how it was so interesting as well. Worth the listen!
