I haven’t ever read a book like this. It made me laugh, cry, cry harder, and feel so many emotions along with Sybil. This story was beautiful, and so heartbreaking at times.

Understanding a person’s life through their letters is an extraordinary journey to the people whom touched their life and ultimately to their soul.

Heart wrenching and heart warming all at once. Wonderfully narrated. Makes you want to write someone a letter.

Great story, writing and narration! Couldn’t stop listening, finished in 24 hours because I couldn’t stop. The story is almost as powerful as the storm.

This is a beautiful book. Funny, moving, heartbreaking and redemptive. I could not stop listening. My secret apologies to all the things I neglected so I could devote my time to this lovely story and cast of characters.

An epistolary novel can at times be difficult to follow but that is not the case here. I listened to the book and enjoyed the many voices. It was incredible as the main character grew older her world grew bigger. Just a delightful book.

Fabulous read. Even better listen. Bravo to the author and readers. This is audio theater at its best!

I loved the character development and the unique way that each character was portrayed. I will be searching for other books by Virginia Evans.

I finished this audiobook in one day! I hate I finished it so fast because I enjoyed it so much. The story is moving and isn’t tied up in a neat bow. I highly recommend this book and feel like getting the written copy for myself.
