i first bought the kindle version and was very confused with who was writing the letters. The narration with multiple actors made the protagonist’s story come alive. This was as good as live reader’s theater.

I enjoyed the uniqueness and emotions expressed in each letter to reveal the entire story of Sybil’s life. The many different voices used to bring each character to life gave the story extra depth and identification. Listening to this story on audible felt more real and personal than had I read the story myself

Virginia Evans’ outstanding epistolary novel. The story, the writing, the performance are all perfection. Funny, moving, and a symphony of words!

What an endearing story about life, love and aging and the relationships we experience. Highly recommend.

I am not a fan of this style. The story is drawn out and the pace is slow.

What an amazing cast of characters Virginia Evans has given us! With every letter we are drawn into the story deeper and deeper, more and more concerned on how our friends are doing. Very sad to come to the end of this book!
