the story started out on the slow side, but increasingly became quite engaging. The author was really able to incorporate each individual’s personality & how they & Sybil were able to relate to one another over time.The narration was superb. Each & every character came alive through their voices.Definitely recommend this book!

Author seems to be borrowing a bit from the Thursday Murder Club. The elderly characters are the most enjoyable portion of the book. Some poetic license is allowable but the ridiculous paralysis of the characters who feel helpless because of the cluelessness of a local police department makes the plot totally unbelievably.
