At first the letter writing format seems strange but then you really get into the style. Loved the story. Portrays how life can knock you down but you just get up and keep going.
I wasn’t sure with the format and multiple narrators at first, but grew to appreciate the characters and the narrators were all fantastic. The way the story spans a handful of years but also a lifetime is very well done, and there is deep character development but it is so well restrained

At first listen, I thought this book was a mistake. However, I am not one to give up on a book and I’m so glad I didn’t on this one. It is full of lessons on life and self reflection. I highly recommend. It’s a beautiful, interesting, out of the ordinary read.
