This is one of the most powerful and beautiful books I’ve ever read. I honestly can’t say what spoke to me, but I’ve read it twice now, which I never do, and I would read it again.

I didn’t want this one to end, but I couldn’t stop listening. What a beautiful concept, an entire book of letters that unfolds a whole life story. I feel like I know them well and love them all . I’m so glad to have found this one.
I’ve not quite read a story in this format before and at first, it was hard to get engaged. However, it won me over and I really enjoyed it. I even shed a tear. I would recommend this book.
Enjoyable because of the different voices for each letter of correspondence carries the great story!
The parallel stories that were so beautifully tied together by Sybil’s life are very much reflective of the complexity of our lives, our relationships. This is my first audible experience that had different readers for the characters, it was just the right amount of acting, not exaggerated thankfully. I will recommend this ‘read’ or audible..
