I loved the books flow and how well the story tied on. Sybil’s mention of other literary works compelled me to look into those and how they inspired Sybil. It’s a sad but beautiful story
Brilliant

This is definitely a book that should be listened to because of the various narrators and voices. They depict the characters perfectly one of my favorite books will recommend.

This is a really wonderful book. An older woman reveals her life in a series of letters written to a wide variety of friends and family. The writing is exquisite and completely draws you into the story.
In the early minutes of this book I thought it boring and uninteresting. As the characters were introduced, however, I found myself intrigued and fascinated. The interweaving of friends, family, loneliness and stubbornness ultimately made for a gripping sense of growth. Voice characterizations were brilliant! Very much enjoyed this novel – highly recommend!
A quiet, steady paced story with unexpected twists which had me hooked. The narration was fantastic!
This book will stay with me for a long time. What a debut! Cannot wait to read more from Virginia Evans!
The letter writing was clever and heartfelt. The reader sees and feels the intimacy of a letter to the recipient.
If this book doesn’t make you want to write letters – to loved ones, to strangers, to enemies – then letter writing may truly die.
Different voices for each character accents & personalities for each. Dates & timelines also very well done
