I loved this book. Interesting. Real. Relatable, Heartwarming. The performance was stellar, especially by the reader of the main character. That there were several readers, all good(!), added to my enjoyment of the book.

Very clever use of letters and email to tell a complete and captivating story with interesting characters that you get to know. The use of multiple “readers” to represent male/female and young/old characters helped to bring them to life! I thoroughly enjoyed this book!!

I saw the high ratings for this book and thought it must be fairly good. I knew right away I was wrong and as the book progressed that feeling didn’t change. I disliked the tone of the narrator and didn’t like the main character. Therefore, it was hard to feel interest or empathy for her…
I still have several hours left. I had to turn her down to 90 or 95 % reading speed and that is how I fixed that or I’d have returned the book. BUT I am SO SICK of her ditzy memory crap. I keep expecting her to visit her doctor so she can get off..
The story was great! Just when you think you’ve got it all figured out, a new twist!!

The narrator was Sybil! Her husband intonations and emotions all so believable. Listening to her words was cathartic as I am her age now. The ups and downs of life.. all different but in many ways the same.
I loved listening to this book. I don’t think I would have enjoyed it half as much by just reading it. It’s one of my favorite listens! Kudos to the author and the narrators…. You brought the story to life!
