I really liked Split-Second Lifetime written by Denise Kahn. This was a really neat story with beautiful prose. One can’t help but be drawn into the story. The characters are fleshed out and the settings are a visual experience with great detail.

The narration made the audio version of this book somewhat hard to follow. When the character’s voices are changed back and forth it makes it distracting. Keeping it a single voice would be better and using a professional voice over would be an even better choice. As a listener, I don’t need the voice differential to know whose speaking.

I did enjoy the music in the audio version. That was a nice touch.

Audiobook gifted in exchange for my honest review.
