Picked this choice as my October read and thought it was a perfect for the time of year being about vampires and hunters. I liked the story settings -time, location- which made it different from my modern supernatural romances. I just didn’t care for the narration; really at all. MFC sounded like an old smoker and while accents are fine for most of the characters the “Vampiric Eastern Europe” was horrible. It actually made me laugh quite a bit when it was sensual scenes because it was funny. So, liked the choice, but maybe would have been better reading the paperback to give it more of my own inner voices.
