Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes. I listened to it primarily because it was written about a young female during a post apocalypse situation. I thought it would give me a perspective from my daughter’s side of things. Much more than that. It’s about the normal person and family. In hard times. Reacting very well sometimes and sometimes making mistakes. No special forces with bunkers and 10 years of rice put back.
Who was your favorite character and why?
The main character and her Dad. There relationship struck home.
What does Kevin Pierce bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
He is Kevin Pierce. Nuff said. There is no equal.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
When the main character would remember what her Dad told her. The times they spent like at the tactical training.
Any additional comments?
I hate when a review spoils something in the book so I will say –There is a character that I’m waiting to see. Anyone that reads or listens to it will know exactly who I’m talking about. The author didn’t fall into the path of here he/she I said on the last page. Good play C.A. Rudolph. But, that person needs to show up. And what was his/her path on getting there.
I did not get this book for free, do not know the author etc.. really liked this book and hope others, including middle aged men get chance to check it out. If you have a daughter or not, you will probably like it.
