This narrator sounds like he’s doing a Jim Carrey impression of Clint Eastwood from Bruce Almighty…the entire time. I genuinely could not get over it. Atop that, I was told this book series is trying to make the listener uncomfortable by the tasks that are asked of Carl and if that’s the case it has succeeded. I have no interest in the sexual overtones (not undertones) nor the racial stereotypes within book 1 and book 2
