Gibran’s work touches upon the ancient mysteries of love and wisdom of the ages long ago…Its a humanistic vision of ancient biblical and spiritual times in and around Lebanon and the Jordan Valley. The music gives it sort of New-age twist, but the teachings (if that is what one wants to call it) seem to be a bit off to me; a bit too mystical. It strikes me more as poetry than that of religious thought.
