It is so interesting because for some reason I love the odd numbered books the best. And it still holds true. I am not sure if the even numbers are doing the hard work of setting the stage so the odd numbers can have more fun? But I find myself laughing more in the odd numbers and a little more confused during the even numbers.
I don’t play magic and or d&d (I don’t know if that matters) but the whole card deck thing in this one was confusing to me.
I still liked it – because I am obsessed! But it seemed to follow the pattern for me! I will say that Samantha has become one of my favorite characters!
