I bought the wrong book on accident and now I’m so sad and this book is disturbing

I didn’t love the book. It took me so many months to finish it. I just couldn’t stay interested in the storyline. I did like the female lead, but the male lead audio was not my favorite. I probably won’t continue the series.

I think Calista is slow. She doesn’t seem like she’s working with a full deck of cards. As for Haden, it’s just improbable for him to be such a successful lawyer, killer, and stalker when he spends all his time chasing after Calista and assaulting everyone who looks or talks to her. the story is pretty good, but the voices and reading was not really good. first of all the female reader keeps pausing uncomfortably after each sentence. the male reader didn’t pause between each sentence, but he tried for a husky sexy voice, but it feels to forces and bland.
