This was book 1 in the “Kings of New York” series. This was a really good read that I loved. Sawyer leaves her small town and goes to New York to visit her cousin after her boyfriend of 20 years marries her best friend who he has been having an affair with and is having..
gotta say I love every book tigan has written but not this one. I liked Jake the the other books in this series but not in this one. didn’t like the female character. it was a struggle getting into the book. really disappointed
Hate and love cliffhanger endings. Hate that I have to wait and love that the story isn’t over. Harper is HILARIOUS!!! Love a sarcastic funny side character.
what an amazing story. Shannon has kicked it up a notch. She once again has created a series that is exciting, suspenseful, slow burn . Harmony is a new leading lady and I am extremely excited to hear the rest of her story.

This book was perfectly enjoyable, but you can see the inevitable, 100% contrived problems coming all the way back in Act 1. And when that 3rd act blowup finally happens, it’s totally expected. i typically hate those types of plot contrivances, and its especially annoying here, but its a trope for a reason. What I..
