So interesting and fun, even through the tense and almost frightening spots. Shannon Mayer is so clever how she hints at what’s to come but you have no idea how she’s going to make it happen. You’re left hanging on the edge of your seat waiting for the next book to be released.

I read many stories in this genre and I appreciate when diverse characters are highlighted. The gentle and loving development of Enrique and Caja’s relationship was very touching. Wonderful situations can happen in the midst of difficulty.

The story line was good, The FMC is just whiney and weak. She’s 36 but acts like she’s a child, Zero backbone and just plain irritating,
