I found this book because the narrator did a live stream on TikTok narrating the book and it was so good, I knew I wanted to pick up the book. After hearing the story again, I enjoyed it and am excited for the next book but Leola did get on my nerves on some parts…
A few unexpected twists in the finale. Absolutely brilliant writing. Honestly, this entire series should be the next Netflix home run. I only wish there could be another book or two.

I love reading about how they decide things, seeing the characters personaliies emerge and shift in stressful circumstances, and the choices they make to survive.
