A thriller, an edge of your seat yes! Espionage, yes! Political and historical, yes. I did not know much about Syria. Intertwined in all it is also a romance. This was well pointed out by Proctor in the end. Amazing story and narration.

My favorite audiobooks are ones like this that I can get into without spending hours trying to keep up. The man reading has an edge. My favorites are the darker ones..
