This book is awful. Chapter 1: privileged suburban individuals, blocked off neighborhood from zombies and any survivors, kills children, makes fun of and mocks a preacher and religion, while laughing, and having fun. chapter 2: more killing human not zombie children…. Lots of them. Started off terrible and just continues. Don’t waste your credits.
Couldn’t stop listening. Detail and story line are incredible. Character development was very well done and made the story deeply engaging.
A.C. Calloway has done it again! Sit back and prepare to be transported to a different world created by this brilliant writer.
I have been waiting for a book about these characters from reading all the other books Mariah has written and this did not disappoint at all! Perfect set up of the characters and how their relationship develops and has its challenges! Loved it!
Not the best of the series but still a good listen. I will probably finish the series but it is stsrting to get a little tedious.
The story is great as always by these authors, but someone needs to tell the female narrator that she’s reading a novel, not slam poetry. I’ll be listening to the rest of this story via TTS thanks to her. The robotic voice of my TTS is preferable to whatever she’s doing.
Plot contrivances used to advanced ideas taken too often. Healthy dose of POTUS, Syrian President both conspired to achieve their objectives, ridiculous code names, sex, betrayal and redemption. Story lacks nuance and intelligence with Syrians portrayed stupidly and heavy handed. Shoot first and ask no questions. Brother against brother leads to brother killing brother! I..
Great trilogy. Aspen finally got her well deserved HEA. Very dark themes in the beginning, so check warnings before continuing with this book. I just adore the crazy Rossi family. I recommend reading Xander’s story as well!!
