I loved that Lucas and Tessa finally ended up together. They belonged together from the beginning.
Glad for a happy ending

The storyline progressed perfectly and kept me hooked from beginning to end. I wish Mila’s story also had a perfect conclusion.
Nicole Flockton is a new author to me and I am shocked that I have not come across her books before. This was an entertaining romantic suspense story that ticked all the boxes for me. Well written, the narration was good and the narrators, Maeve York and Connor Brown were easy to listen to. From..
Nick is masterful in telling stories about War and the absurdity of War. He’s funny, self-aware, and a very good writer. This book is between wars when Special Forces leave their element and have to find ways to live in the world. Very entertaining.
This is one of the best series that I’ve listened to. Very entertaining and very accurate description of the military.

1/ it’s a whole lot of, “I love him, but my sister.” It got old. Then I gets through 80+ chapters of that and it’s almost cliff hanger. I will not be buying the second book.
