I liked this story. Low-angst love story that delivers a satisfying HEA. I listened to the audiobook. The narration didn’t quite match the characters, in my opinion, but it was only a distraction in the beginning. By the middle of the first chapter, I was too invested in the story to be bothered by it…
the reader was a bit flat in delivery but I just pushed through it and now I’m going to gave to wait for the next one
Review from Captured by a Dragon-Shifter Series (The Complete Box Set) →
interesting concept about the ring of fire. we all know it’s connected. May the almighty be with us if this happens
As others have stated, the first 6 hours of this book are (I assume) supposed to be character building and setting the stage – except there is literally no actual character building – more like prolonged introductions with no real depth. Don’t think I have the patience to continue with this book or series.
Storyline was OK. I like how they incorporated everybody into this story but it didn’t hold my interest like book one and two did still wasn’t a bad book just not as good as the others.
I feel like most of his series are chaptered kind of short which draws out most aspects of the ongoing story but this book 3 is almost literally a full 6 hrs of a looong drawn out search for Dean where next to nothing else happens. Then when things do happen it’s like 4 chapters..
Entertaining, it keeps you in suspense. I like that they mull over theories trying to predict what could happen. I also like the family dynamics, all know at least some science.
