This is by no means a masterpiece that keeps you highly engaged and binging the book. I could have easily gone without reading this.

you changed the narrator and it ruined the whole series, I can’t even get through the first chapter of this book because the narrator is horrible.
Characters were not as well developed as his past books, and I don’t think as likable. Wealthy starlets and the shallow Malibu social elite with unlimited funds are not particularly relatable to me. Story line of the collapse is bit muddled and vague. Still worth the time.

I am coming into this series straight out of the John Warren novels and those were the first books from this author I have read. where those were a nice slow burn this series is pedal to the metal out the gate. Highly recommend if you are looking for a fast paced action packed read..
