The female narrator is very breathy & whiney. The story was OK, but kind of predictable.

Bobby Akart books are well written and hard to put down. I listen to this one through audio books and loved it. He spins stories and situations with fictional character fog in through real world scenarios. Not only is the story entertaining but it is chilling.

Love the way Bobby Akart developed the story line and characters. Can’t wait for the next book in the series.

This one has a lot of things to unpack. They touch on multiple sensitive topics in the book , but it’s done with grace. I liked how they all became a family in the end.

The story was tense, but I didn’t realize it was a series, so this is not a standalone book, hence it left me hanging and wanting more!

Topical, well written, narration is tedious(sorry). The chauvinistic bent is hard to ignore..MEN save the day while women fall to pieces😣…please..stop!!Maybe the characters will develop to become less stereotypical of a male’s rendition of ‘roles’. Maybe the nausea will resolve.It gets a response though and that shows contact with the reading audience.

The female narrator’s voice was too “whiny” for my taste… I found myself fast forwarding through her vocals and reading those chapters instead.

I love this series. It’s very interesting with very likable characters. They make the story come alive.
