It probably was a good story but the reader was awful. We couldn’t tell one character from another. Accents named by region sounded nothing like they should and couldn’t be held with any consistency. Will not listen to anything else read by this person.
this series is an easy listen with characters you come to care about. it’s predictable, but there is usually a twist.
The plot and reading moves at glacial pace. The characters are unbelievable, and the reader’s accent is so affected that it is a distraction.
