Narrator put me off the book. Storyline was good but some of the characters were weak and unbelievable.
The tension of the story is non-existent. We all want a happy ending for these characters, but do all the problems our protagonists encounter need to be solved before they even cause an issue?

This book needed a good editor. Apparently the writer dumped ever idea into the book. Each character was 80%, nothing fully formed. Listening to this was like a mental dodgeball session, only to be exacerbated by the annoying narration. It had promise but I list count of how many times as I needed to rewind..
Boring and took ages to get started. Very disappointing and fell asleep numerous times so also lost the plot
I do wanted another author to read in between Michael Woods fantastic writing but I can’t get past chapter 4 due to the almost tiring slow style narrator – virtually croaky tones … what a shame
The only thing that stood out to me in this book was the inane voice narrating it, I was bored stupid by end of first chapter but I’d paid £7.99 on top of my subscription to listen to this total rubbish, now it may well be the book is good perhaps if I’d read it..
