I wish I had read the reviews before wasting a credit on this reading.A more skilled narrator would have made this a much better story. It was hard to differentiate between the characters and the accents were dreadful.Finished it two days ago and now can’t even remember who dun it!
The story line did not flow from the beginning. Characters were not well defined. Re-read the first six chapters four times. Alas, the abrasive voice of the narrator pushed me to give up.
I would possibly have downloaded the whole series but I am thankful I did not. The narration, as far as I am concerned, is amateurish and extremely difficult to listen to. As a life long lover of Cumbria and the Lake District I would be upset to be portrayed like this.
This book is disgusting. It absolutely turns my stomach. I had no idea this would be this type book.
This book made me despise alise. She’s an easily manipulable nitwit. Cruel and disloyal. I liked her in earlier books but now I don’t care what happens to her. Killian deserves better.
Only listened to 2 1/2 chapters, fast forwarded those to hoping the story would get going, too much detail about each character.
