So much contrived drama. Characters behaving drastically differently than they have in the past. Good story, well written tale of a less celebrated founding father. Stifel’s narration was outstanding. His voice and style really brought the story to life. Looking forward to his next narration.

Such a great book in a great series. I’m excited to see what happens next.

Officially, you don’t need to read “Happy” before this one. But it sets up half the story. And, honestly, it’s more fun. So don’t skip it.

I love audio books and usually don’t get abridged books because there can be details left out but OMG this was so unbalanced. Hours of details for unimportant scenes then a sudden ending with almost nothing. Author must have been given a page count to hit or someone edited in addition unnecessary pages.

Seriously, started a bit slow. I don’t like the heroine but it gets better! I’m truly excited for the whole series.
