Of all the books I have read on FDR and the history of FDR this is by far the best and deserves several readings. It is complete factual and entertaining. 10 / 10

AO is a great series but this side quest and Rileys are as good as the main text. Bag well truly has a gift!
The arguments are presented very well, with the author remaining impartial throughout. It has my recommendation as an introduction to the concepts and ideas it presents, but only as an introduction.
