This is probably my favorite of the series. I am looking forward to more of Jason’s story but unlike a lot of the sidequest material I didn’t miss the characters of the main story as much.

At first I was not sure I was going to like this book; with all the assassin stuff in the beginning, but then it became more approachable about a guy who was bullied for year and is just now standing up for himself. I hope by the end of the series that Alex gets help…

Really well executed story and narration, adding several layers of character development, tying multiple storylines together, intrigue, and a setup for what will no doubt be a banger of a next (last?) book.

the narrators voice fits the tone of the book. the content isn’t very appealing to me but it wasn’t bad as far as books about stuff i dont care about go.
