I got to the first book and half of the second book all these people do is get their butts kicked to the whole book it’s kind of depressing they kill off most of the main characters

This book is terrific. Narration is perfect. Life tales for younger readers. Icing on the cake to adult readers of Charles Leerhsen’s great bio.

This was a great installment! In the beginning it seemed like a bit more of the same. This blew the top off the story in and out of the game! Must read/listen!

I regularly re-listen to the series every 6 months or so. I wish there were more LitRPG series like this!

The vernal narrative of this piece was flawlessly done, and the commentary on how those with power see those without is still applicable. It’s still a relevant commentary on racism and prejudice and I appreciated the deadpan humor with which it was delivered, especial the last few sentences.
