Another city, new relics, and twists in the cases. Those lizards be slapping our crew up and down the road. Another great addition in the series, and here’s to more!
As the title says, this is a side story in a long running series that I haven’t read a word of. I don’t have any attachments or baggage with the main narrative, so that is my caveat for this review. The highs: I liked that this bucked some of the tropes of LitRPG (which I..
I didn’t like the graphic sex didn’t have to be so disgusting. And the storyline was kind of confusing. I like a good horror story but not like this one.
the narration is terrible… that alone made it hard to follow. the story is ok but would be better without the sexual content . its like the author just needed words to fill a minimum page count and used sexual content ” just because ” it had nothing to do with the actual story
You could say it explores escapism, Ai, bullying and mental health, but really it’s just a fun book, which are getting buried these days.
I love this story! It is one of my Favorite by ERB. David Stifel is now my favorite story teller on Audible. He did an amazing job! A Rip Roaring Adventure, Mistaken Identity, Red Blooded Heroes, Horses, Sword Play, A Princess in Peril, Love, Humor, Good Guys, Bad Guys, ERB excelled in this type of..
Awaken online and Travis Bagwell in audible is just as good as countless reads on paperback! So happy for this other form of taking in this thrilling story!
Listened to all of the series to date including the side quests. The problem is the characters are painful. The world is good, I really want to see where the story goes but the list of characters I can’t stand out weighs everything else. Too much angst and complaining. Everyone is whiny to a fault…
These shorts are exceptional and poignant, not to mention nostalgic. Each story is gripping and full of twists, keeping the reader completely engaged.
