Have you ever wondered how many different things can be rocketed? Well this book has your answers and more! Rocks – Rocketed, candles – Rocketed, main characters – Rocketed, Feelings – Rocketed, Mana – Rocketed. Great story and concepts that could stand to get around in more adjective ways than by rocket.
decent characters, needed more maybe, good story…. hard sci fi? hmmm more like medium.narrator was good but pronounced “giga” like doc brown from back to the future.
The story is extremely well written, twists, turns… I don’t know of why others complained about the real world parts, it was natural and felt good. The story as a whole was cohesive and flowed. However… One of the biggest flaws from the beginning is this attachment to a poor antagonist that unlocks new enemy..

The world Bagwell is expanding on has so many facets and he is going a great job of simultaneously exploring them all.
An engaging story, even if I didn’t know where it was going for a while. Excellent ideas and an exploration of AI and its consequences. Nice nods to The Moon is a Harsh Mistress and other classics. Recommended.

So… this book could be summed up in just a few min. Very little happens and it is just filled with boring… filler. The sarcastic banter is sad, just sad and repetitive. It has lost it’s litRPG feel. So much could be done, but… nothing. This book could be 1/4 it’s length and still cover..

Travis Bagwell had managed to make LitRPG rather cool and relatable. The characters in these books feel real, they all have faults and are not one dimensional. I’m loving seeing the world created in Awaken Online and I cannot wait for the day Finn crosses paths with Jason… it’ll be one hell of a meeting.
