I truly was amazed at the book. As with any book it wasn’t totally perfect but close enough. The storyline was very original for a LitRPG. Fun as well as imaginative. Narrator was good but was limited in his voices.

This story continues the trend of including more teenage melodrama, which isn’t really for me. The first book started out with some great action and strategy – in short it really did live up to its name of being Cathartic – while the subsequent books have dealt more and more with angst. I think this..
Slightly disappointed

I expected this book to be last in series about Finn’s adventures. His story arc is interesting, but way to long. Another thing that bothered me: All that time Finn had a powerup ability, his Thrump card he got from Seer. And he Never. Ever. even mentioned this amazing ability, or explain why he doesn’t..
A REAL Hero!

Awaken Online is easily my current favorite LitRPG audio book series. I’ve loved both storylines. I’ve tried maybe 10ish different LitRPG series, and this is the best I’ve come across. (The completionist chronicles maybe being my second?) If you like LitRPGs, try Awaken Online. You will not be disappointed.
A thesaurus might have helped.
