And the first wasn’t very good. I enjoyed Jason’s story which is why I gave this series a chance. But this one is boring, and I don’t like the main character. Not really any redeeming qualities.
Worse than the first

It was good but I wasn’t surprised at any point, everything seemed pretty predictable. I really like this series, I have high hopes for the next book.
This book may have been groundbreaking at the time, but all of the ideas contained in it have been developed much further in the last 30 years. it has meaning historically, but not much value to anyone who is even mildly read on the topics presented.
I love the awaken online books. They artfully move between real world and the game and it is all interesting. This is not always the case with Lit RPG books.
Honestly the best in the whole series in my opinion. Frank just feels so much more relatable than Jason but then again that may just be me. The characters are great the abilities are great the story legitimately has so many twists and turns that I did not see coming. It is amazing. I really..
Another fantastic journey into the life and misadventures of Jason and the members of original sin. Without missing a beat ,Mr.Bagwell has given me adventure at every chance, backstory with great detail and hope for the next book. I love this series
Great story about how Riley gains get special ability. Honestly holds its own as a complete side quest. Worth it.
little magic hero centric and crazy lucky breaks but good. would listen again. reader is a little monotone at first but livens up
I enjoyed this story quite a bit. There was significant progression to the various arcs and world building. I had been removed from my enjoyment on multiple occasions when I began to tire of the phrase “even as”, as well as the somewhat overwrought “woe is me” navel gazing.
I’ve really enjoyed the AO series and spin offs. This last book was rough for me though. Think a lot of editing could have happened… half the book takes place sitting around a giant ant colony. The characters were intriguing in the first book, but not as well developed in this one. I haven’t given..
