too much filler and does not progress the story enough, in my opinion. could have given the background faster and not dragged it out.
I’m in love with the side quests. they help cement your connection with the characters in the series and damn, Riley’s story is no different. I am now on book 3 and looking forward to franks side quest and confidence building

I have followed Bentley Little,s books since The Mailman. Listening to the Town narrated by David brought back old memories and a better understanding on what this book was about. Freaky and scary? You must read or listen to this.

Was pretty disappointed when Travis said that he was going to put the other series on hold so that he could do some more work on this series. But this book more than makes up for it. It was a really good story start to end and I can’t wait for the next one!
Great story…narrator sounds like a whiney 5yr old. Overall Im excited to read more but I wont buy another audio book.

not too much to it. I grew to dislike the main character quite easily. I found nothing admirable in him or even any reason to root for him…Seemed to be way more exposition than needed, just make a shorter story.No clue if it was the story itself, or the pacing, but the voice acting didn’t..
Great book! Fabulous narration! This is a must read book if you enjoy aviation or military history.
