this author doesn’t tell you what thinkers thought but what they meant! half of the book is the author’s own musings about the authors’ life or thoughts. this is not a serious book.
listening to this book is a torture

The narration was good, but not sure if I completely understood the story or at least what it were trying to tell us. I will not be listening to the other two in this series
An in depth look at Wade McClusky’s life with a focus leading up to, covering, and following the Battle of Midway. The author looks to clarify some aspects of both McClusky’s life and specific points of his service that prior authors either got wrong completely or mis-interpreted. I think this is more than servicable look..
I love this author. I don’t wanna give any spoiler alert, but when he writes a book that’s scary borderline horror you think it’s gonna be similar to other books and it’s never similar. It starts out feeling like that and then he puts all kinds of interesting changes and twist.. The characters he creates..
This is my favorite story yet. And yes, I’ve said that again and again as I make my way through Awaken Online. Bagwell weaves the yearning of emotions in his characters perfectly. Frank grows through his journey alongside other new characters. I love this corner of the world and watching the map expand. I feel..
I was surprised to enjoy Aliza’s story. The pace was more slice of life and different than the other books. Bagwell, the flirting was much better in this book than book 4. It was adorable. And no I’m not sure if I spelled Aliza right.
I’m a few hours into the book. so far the story and setting are super interesting, so I’ll be sticking with it. that said, the narrator isn’t the best. he’s a good reader, but audio books like this need a narrator to be great, not just a reader.
This was a great read but had just a little too much romance. Try some of his WWII historical novels.
