I like it better than I did when I read it forty years ago. The performance was solid.

Review from The Monster Men →
I like the Lit RPG genre and this book had good reviews so I thought I’d give it a shot but, I found myself getting irritated and not liking Jason (main character). dislikesJason – Has a victims mentality and is a bit narcissistic. Narrator– Monotone, Jason sounds whiney Story– Generic high school story + futuristic..
Misconceptions about the difficulties of clinics just a smattering of decoration about cloud solutions If this otherwise well written the book mostly obsolete in 2020
I listened to and read this in less than a day. I enjoyed the way this tied in with the other books and that like the original series isn’t as cookie cutter as a lot of this genre has become. So used to the MCs being basically the same jack of all trades. Focusing on..
The amount of detail provided by the author allows a reader to trace the war in Austria on maps. And it gives us an extensive account of how bitter the battles in Austria were for the control of the country. It is fortunate that Eisenhower sent the American army and Austria and also the British..
I love this book, I read it about a while ago and forgot about it until I came across it recently. I got excited and remembered it very well. The funny thing is that many of the other books in my library I had no clue what the stories were about.
Extremely informative. For sixty years I have struggled with Depression and PTSD. Knowledge is everything.
I actually really enjoyed this story line. Probably one of the best so far but……the last couple chapters with how they allowed things to happen so unbelievably, seriously just pissed me off. I don’t want to leave any spoilers of course but damn I was pissed. Otherwise everything was on point. Hopefully the next book..
Must read for any Safety Professional. Highly recommend for any one in management. Care about others to help prevent injuries seems simple, but if it were more people would do it.Thank you for sharing your insight and experiences.
The first two volume had good stories and decent narrations, not sure what happened to this one. The best story was Maberry’s, but even the best can be taken down by a slow, gravely, and unemotional narration. Hopefully, a number IV will come out and rub a new shine on the series.
