Some of the first three chapters were cringe inducingly bad, but push through the first three chapters and there’s a solid litrpg here. I’m planning on continuing the series.

Interesting little side story. Built up Riley’s character a lot more. Really needed something like this!

Give it a try. I enjoyed it. Going on to the next book in the series!

I understand that people have natural tones to their voice, and all due respect to David for his work here, but it was hard to get through the book. It’s doable (I’m writing this while listening to the epilogue) but be prepared to get through in spite of the narration, not because of it.

I wasn’t sure about this series when I started book one next thing I know I’m done book 4. and im definitely looking forward to the next one
