Things are really heating up in this second installment of “Awaken Online”. Can’t wait for more. What does book 2.5 hold in store?

I really enjoyed listening to Captain Maddox and his intrepid crew’s attempt to recover the lost alien super-ship. Fast paced, nicely developed characters, and a satisfying ending.

If you liked the other books in the series, you’ll like this one. I wasn’t a big fan of how rushed the development of Finn was in this book. The setting is interesting, his backstory is interesting, the magic system is interesting, but we don’t get to take our time experiencing any of these things…
