Really would have liked it a lot more with a different narrator. Not terrible but definitely makes the experience a lot less enjoyable but that’s my fault for listening instead of reading myself!

that was boss, Jason is a G. the antagonist has a really good back story and is developed a lot better then a lot of cookie cutter villains in other books. you can really empathize with Alex.

I started listening because I was tired of my kid begging me to just try it! I finished because it is an amazing story and very engaging to listen too
The narrator is terrible. The writing it amateurish and predictable. Character development is lacking and the way people jump to correct conclusions is unbelievable. I would not recommend this book.

Ten chapters in and literally only spooky thing is some deer died. It’s about building a store in a small town so far. That is literally what has occurred in this book in 10 chapters. Wow.
