This authors dedication to the study of history is absolutely amazing. The depth of all the supporting characters makes this book so rich.

Me to the Preacher: git good scrub This is another great entry to the already good series, though I have to admit; It is super annoying how the characters go back and forth between “it’s just a game” to “this is more than just a game” whenever it’s convenient for the story to progress.

just when I thought I could see an end to the series…. this guy writes himself into another 5 or 6 books minimum.

How could the most amazing story of the hero of Midway be made dull and uninteresting? Minutia? Gloss over the actual dropping of bombs on enemy carriers but talk bureaucratic bs? The author succeeded in making it dry as toast and boring.

I did not see that coming! This book just became something completely different and I love it!
