Narration speed is inconsistent and annoying to listen to. Book content seems to be good. I purchased because I have a personal connection to the Battle of Glorieta.
Decent overall concept hampered by awkward dialog, stolen concepts from other sci-fi (Scotty from Star Trek), weak characters, and mediocre narration.
James MacGregor Burn again did a wonderful job. I very much enjoyed this presentation and representation of FDR’s life and times.

When I saw how long this was I hesitated, glad I didn’t. I drive truck at night and this had me hooked right away! I finished it in a weeks time. There are many stories I have abandoned in the middle of them, not this one. I will be replaying it at some point.
