I have listened to 15 of the books, and this one here Hass to be one of the underrated stories. The author who is reading it gets a lot better on the second book where he does the voices of the character a lot better and throughout the series he keeps getting better and better..

The first 16 hours are just bickering between Jason and Katie with bouts of anti-capitalist rhetoric being pushed. I powered through because I’ve loved the series and the it’s what introduced me to the litrpg genre. After the first 16 hours it reads more akin to the classic style. Looking forward to the next book.

Just when you think there can’t be more or better characters lines in a series it just keeps coming. Maybe some of my favorite characters yet. Can’t wait to see how it comes together.
