The book kept me fairly entertained but definitely could have been half as long. Seems like it took too long to really pick up just to have what seemed like a rushed ending, its paced very strangely. Also the big twist that happens at the end although shocking and horrifying doesn’t really seem to change..
A thorough, entertaining, and well read book that describes the evolution of political thought in a very digestible way for both academics and those who are just curious. Though long, the book remains engaging until the end. Highly recommend.

The print version of this book costs over $50 in paperback, even on Ebay, and is worth every penny. I had never paid that much for a paperback, but after listening to this audible versiom, read by a real pro, I bought both – and am not sorry.
