felt like the author has big plans but needed to find a quick way to get there and this book is basically setting up the plot of the next 3 books (at least).it’s not bad, just nowhere near the first two books

everything just as I have loved from the novels. The humour is excellent, the voices are amazing (though I wish they increased the volume of Solphis’ voice, I constantly have to turn it up to again when he speaks), and the ending is supreme. Hyped for the next book 😍

MC enjoys her new city. Grows in power. Finds love. Fights bad guys. Evacuates city. Loses love. Becomes bitter.A good listen I enjoyed it.

reminds me of mimic and me a.lot, but it was a good listen. I’ll definitely purchase the sequel when it becomes available

In book three the author does the best job yet of leveraging the hero’s power without annoying repetition. It’s still there of course, but it feels meaningful.
