I have really enjoyed this series. This particular story had dogs dying and horses being left behind. You can kill off any human and I’ll carry on but one mention of a dog dying and I’ll carry that in my mind for weeks. There’s no need to include things like that
Most of this book was fine. Maddie is a terrible character, comes off very whiny. Never wished for a main character to be scrubbed before
