I’ve read the other books by Ryan Schow and really enjoyed them. This new trilogy does not disappoint. Ryan creates characters that you really can connect with and care about. This book does not have Zombies or preppers, it is regular people surviving really crazy events. I am looking forward to the next one!

Kevin Pierce is as excellent as ever. But the book was mediocre. The story relied too much on the sexual details of this disturbed Amish guy than it did anything else. Cheap.

I love this series! My genre is usual Zompoc…but I also love a great Apocalypse series.
Really enjoyed the story, even if some of the outcomes were improbable, it n Uther has to get the job done, even if it means cutting corners. I am a Combat Vet, and a former Undercover Drug investigator…deep cover. I can relate to many of the scenarios, but probably would have been a “memorial plaqure”..
the best of this genre. i have 40 or 50 dystopian type audio books. this is the best. original story, great characters very engaging. 6 stars all the way around

It has a few good things about it but his father sounds more interesting and I know nothing about the event and there should be a chapter or prologue telling you about the event or something that happened before this book. >:/
I thoroughly enjoy these books that have a go at an actual realistic version of what might happen in case of a realistic apocalypse situation. This book prompts thought experiments and rabbit trails, which I enjoy. The book itself is well written, good plot, enjoyable characters. I think the head honcho going full on tyrant..
I like this series a lot. This one is a little slower than the others, but still good. I think he is laying the ground work for future books in the series. He also through in a Mad Mick cross over from that series. That is intriguing since that is also a great series. I..
