I could not put it down. I can’t wait to read it again. Keep churning out the books Mark.
Not what I expected
Review from Tribulation →
Excellent book that kept me eagerly awaiting the next chapter. SPOILER ALERT: stop reading here if you don’t know or don’t want to know anything about this story prior to reading. (Almost) unbelievable that an educated psychiatric nurse is anxiously awaiting the (never-going-to-happen) release of the love of her life; “The Monster.” I know “love”..
I’m a true crime fan and chose this book based on the great reviews. For me, the best of Ann Rule focuses on psychological factors, making the actions of the “monster” truly horrifying. Unfortunately, the emotional impact here is obscured and “dumbed down” by the inclusion of pages and pages of minor detail.
A fabulous ending to one of the best post apocalyptic series I’ve ever read. Will be looking up more by this author.
Great story of Jim Powell along with all the characters surrounding him. I read all of Franklin’s books and find all very entertaining. Great writer for sure. Kevin Pierce is one of the best for audio and find myself searching other books he narrated just for that reason.
This series has been a thrilling and realistic account of what might befall us should such a catastrophe take place sometime in our future. The characters are so well-portrayed that they become corporeal to me. I cheer their successes, cringe at their close calls, bristle at the offenses, and swallow the lump in my throat..
I thoroughly enjoyed this account of what he experienced in what he calls body number two. He doesn’t use exaggeration or overly emoted evidence simply recounts his OBEs in a very believable way and offers advice to help others who may wish to make the journey themselves.
I really love this book I’ve currently been listening to the survivor series by angry American I finished book six and wanted to spice things up with something different and I’ve been wanting to give this one a try for quite a while and I was not disappointed the only thing that I was bothered..
